Introduction

Here at the North Staffordshire Conference, Seminar and Meeting Centre you will find that our purpose designed building can accommodate professional, formal and informal gatherings in modern, light and airy surroundings. It’s built-in flexibility and quality catering means that the needs of most organisations and individuals can be met under one roof.

Because the North Staffs Conference Centre operates within the North Staffordshire Medical Institute registered charity (Charity Registration No. 200843) this can be done at the most competitive rates. Other registered charities booking will also be eligible for a discount.

If you are looking for a venue to hold a conference, a location for a business seminar or a great central meeting venue for a training session then the North Staffordshire Conference Centre ticks all the boxes. Please view our facilities and contact us to discuss your needs further.

Our History

The North Staffordshire Medical institute was established in 1961 as an independent charity to provide funds for medical and surgical research and to facilitate medical education.

Whilst the education and research aspects of our work continue to be funded by the charitable donations, the North Staffs Conference Centre operates as a registered charity with any surplus monies being used to fund medical research and education in accordance with the terms of the trust. It can be hired at most attractive rates by individuals, groups, organisations or companies, whether medical or otherwise.

In 2001, our Conference and Seminar building was completely refurbished by award-winning architects. This has continued and now provides a modern facility for displays, exhibitions, seminars, meetings, conferences and even social occasions. It contains lecture theatres and a range of flexible seminar and meeting rooms that can be provided with audio-visual equipment. There are also a number of informal seating areas, a snack bar and rooms for private dining. Most areas are air-conditioned.
